Majority to Shop on the Clock This Cyber Monday
Some holiday gifts may get crossed off a little early this year, as a majority of professionals plan to hunt for deals from their office on Cyber Monday.
In total, a whopping 71% said they plan to spend some amount of time online shopping while at the office on Cyber Monday, according to an Office Pulse study of 346 white-collar workers across the US and Canada.
How much time will you spend shopping online during Cyber Monday at the office?
While the numbers were high across all demographics, slightly more women (74%) than men (67%) said they’ll online shop at work the Monday after Thanksgiving. As one might expect, there was also a slight age-gap: 80% of Millennials and 74% of Gen Xers plan to do some sort of online shopping that day, compared to just 55% of Baby Boomers.
Adobe Analytics predicted that Cyber Monday will break records, with $9.4 billion in sales this year, a massive 18.9% spike compared to last year.
